At Prime Comfort Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, we’re more than just a local service company — we’re a family that’s been keeping Kansas City comfortable for generations.

Our story began over a decade ago, when our family founded Mission Plumbing Heating and Cooling with just six employees and a vision: to provide honest, reliable, and expert service to the people of our hometown. Over the next eight years, we grew Mission PHC to a thriving team of 73, becoming a trusted name across the KC metro. In early 2021, after the loss of our beloved mother and co-founder, we made the difficult decision to sell the business and take time to regroup as a family.

But something didn’t sit right.

We watched as many local service companies — including our own former business — were bought up by big private equity firms. These corporations brought profits, but often at the cost of personal service, local jobs, and the trust that can only come from neighbors serving neighbors.

That’s why we came back.

Now operating out of our original Mission PHC building, Prime Comfort PHC is our new beginning — with the same heart, same integrity, and same commitment to quality that built our reputation in the first place. We’re bringing local, family-run service back to Kansas City’s plumbing, heating, and cooling industry — where it belongs.
