At Prime Comfort Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, we’re more than just a local service company — we’re a family that’s been keeping Kansas City comfortable for generations.

Our story began over a decade ago, when our parents founded a local plumbing, heating, and cooling company with just six employees and a vision: to provide honest, reliable, and expert service to the people of our hometown. Over the next eight years, we grew the company to a thriving team of 73, becoming a trusted name across the KC metro. In early 2021, after the loss of our beloved mother and co-founder, we made the difficult decision to sell the business and take time to regroup as a family.

Now operating out of our original building at 5729 Nieman Rd. in downtown Shawnee, Prime Comfort PHC is our new beginning — with the same heart, same integrity, and same commitment to quality that built our reputation in the first place. We’re bringing local, family-run service back to Kansas City’s plumbing, heating, and cooling industry — where it belongs.

So far, I had new sump pump installed at cost much lower than big name competitors. Then, i also had a new 2-stage high efficiency furnace installed that i am excited about. The cost was reaonable for the unit. Pat the sales guy was really helpful while Jim & Kevin, the installers, did amazing job in just a few short hours answering all my questions!

Figured out the issue and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. They didn’t try to up sell me anything that I didn’t need. What an awesome company. He cleaned the unit, especially the compressor- it was very dirty.  Jared didn't try to sell me other parts.  He gave me honest advice regarding the age of my current system and to be aware of the need to replace within the next couple of years.
